The availability of the examination form will start in April 2025. Steps to Apply for UGC NET Exam 2025:

UGC NET Application Fee:
The application fee varies from category to category. Like those who are from the general category need to make payment for Rs.1100, OBC category- Rs.550, SC, SC category for Rs.275. The payment mode can be any debit card or credit card. Also, ensure that after getting done with the application form submission and paying the fee, take out the printout for further reference.

Age Criteria:
- The age limit will be 30 for the Junior Research Fellowship.
- For the Assistant Professor No age limit.
- The age relaxation for OBC-NCL, PwD, ST, SC, and women category candidates will be 5 Years.
- For LLM Degree and Research Experience candidates, the age relaxation will be 3 Years.
Qualification Requirement:
- Exam Qualifying: For the UGC NET Qualification will be a Master’s degree or equivalent from the UGC recognized university. If candidates have a Ph.D. degree they can also apply.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates must have 55% marks in Master’s degree and reserved categories candidates have 50% Marks.
- Appearing Candidates: If candidates appear for the master’s degree final semester they can also apply.
Eligibility for the Assistant Professor:
- The Minimum eligibility for the Assistant Professors is NET/SLET/SET.
Exam Pattern:
In this section, candidates get here the information about UGC NET 2025 Exam Pattern:
- Exam Mode: UGC NET Exam will be conducted online (CBT).
- Papers: There are two parts of the Exam. Both the papers will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between papers.
- Duration: The Duration of the Exam will be 3 Hours (180 minutes).
- Number of Questions: The total number of questions will be 150. Which is divided into 2 Papers. First Paper will be 50 and the Second paper will be 100 questions. Candidates need to attempt all questions it’s compulsory.
- Type of Questions: These questions papers will be objective.
- Subjects: 1st paper will be General Aptitude Questions and the Second paper will be subjective which is candidates choose during the submit the application form.
- The medium of Paper: In this exam candidates have the option to choose the exam the paper medium. there is two medium of exam Hindi or English.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, candidates will get 2 marks.
- Negative Marking: Not allow Negative Marking.
The exam will be divided into 3 parts i.e, Part A, Part B & Part C.
- Part A: This section of the exam, consists of a General Aptitude with an emphasis on logical reasoning, quantitative comparison, analytical&numerical ability, graphical analysis, series formation, puzzles, etc.
- Part B: This part will consist of conventional Multiple-Choice-questions, which will cover the topics that have to give in the syllabus.
- Part C: This part will utilize to check the candidate’s concepts o science and/or the application of scientific concepts. There would be related questions that will ask with an analytical nature. The candidates would have to apply the scientific knowledge to solve the given scientific problem

UGC NET Syllabus:
The UGC NET 2025 Syllabus depends on candidates because candidates choose the subject. More than 100 subjects are included in the UGC NET entrance exam. UGC NET exam divided into two parts that are Part I and Part II. Part I syllabus will common for every student. The topics will be included in part I such as comprehension, reasoning ability, general awareness, and divergence. The part II syllabus depends on candidates selected by the subject.
