- Candidates can fill out the UGC NET Exam 2023 December application form through online mode.
- The Candidates need to choose the subject first.
- December session the online application form will release on the 2nd week of August 2023.
- For the December session, the online application form the last date to submit will be the 4th week of September.
- The aspirant also submits all details such as Your First, Second & Last Name, Parents’ Name, Gender, Phone Number, Date of Birth, Email Address, Permanent & Mailing addresses, etc.
- After submitting the personal details. Then fill in the educational information such as University Name, Subjects in PG, Passing Year in PG, etc.

UGC NET December 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
- Interested aspirants should be a citizen of India and they have to do the graduation of any recognized university.
- Candidates who have completed or perusing a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (General) and 50%(ST, SC) are eligible to apply for it.
- Aspirants who have done D & M.Phil degree then fulfill the fellowship NET Exam.
Age Limit:
For Junior Research Fellowship:
- Candidate’s age should not be more than 28 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per govt. rule.
For Lecturer-ship:
- There is no limitation on age.
General Instructions
- The submission of an Online Application is mandatory. Hard copies of the application form will not be accepted by CBSE.
- Application Form must be complete in all respects as per the Notification.
- No applications can be submitted after the last date (i.e. November 2023) and no fee will be accepted after Nov 2023 in any circumstances.
UGC NET December 2023 Exam Pattern:
Find below the information about the UGC NET 2023 Exam Pattern: Read all steps very carefully before submitting the application form:
- There are divided into the part, National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted in two sessions and both parts of the exam clear mediatory.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking allow in this exam. Every question will be 2 marks.
- Date of Exam: The exam conducts two times in a year. There are the July and December sessions.
- Mode of Exam: The entrance exam mode will be online CBT.
- Total Exam: UGC NET entrance exam divided into two parts Paper I & Paper-II.
- Total Questions: The questions paper will be a total of 150 Marks. There for Paper 1st is 50 Marks and Paper II is 100 Marks.
- Question Type: The question type will be Multiple Choice.
- Exam Paper Language: The exam language will be English and Hindi.
- Duration: 60 Minutes for Paper I and 120 Minutes for Paper II.
- Number of Marks: The number of marks will be Paper I is 100 and Paper II 200 Marks.

Admit Card:
National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET 2023 December session, Admit Card. Candidates have to download the Admit Card from the official website. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center, on Dates and Timings other than that allotted to them in their Admit card.
Documents to be brought to the Examination Centre:
- A printed copy of the Admit Card.
- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at the Centre during the Examination.
- Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card). The name on the photo identification must match the name as shown on the Admit Card.
Result:
UGC NET December Result will announce after the release of the answer key. Candidates can check their results online mode. Candidates who qualify for the exam called for the interview process.
