UKPSC PCS 2022 Application Form:
The official website of the UKPSC will publish the application form for UKPSC PCS 2022. All instructions must be read carefully by the candidates who wish to apply for this examination. All details about the applicant’s personal and academic information must be mentioned in the application form. Distinct columns will be there to furnish the details in the application form.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- 21 years is the minimum age for applying.
- 42 years is the maximum age limit for UKPSC PCS 2022.
- The age will be counted from 1st July of the respective year.
- None, other than graduates from any recognized university can apply for the same.
- Candidates with a specialization in Hindi or Hindi as a subject in graduation are fit to apply for the designation of Feature writer/ District information officer.
- For the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak, an applicant is required to have a post-graduation diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of the institute of planner/ institute of town planner or institute of town planner India/ American institute of town.

Application Fee:
- Before the application form submission, the application fee must be paid.
- SC or ST and physically handicapped applicants have to pay Rs. 60 as the application fee.
- Applicants belonging to the general category have to pay Rs. 150 as an application fee.
Exam Pattern:
The employment process of Uttarakhand PCS 2022 is segmented into 3 steps as stated below:
- Preliminary round
- Main Examination
- Interview round
Applicants qualifying for the preliminary exam will get a chance to appear in the Main Exam followed by an Interview. The Prelims and Main exams will be dissimilar in the pattern.
Preliminary Round:
- The exam will take place in Offline mode. In Prelims, applicants will answer only Objective Type and multiple-choice questions. General Studies and General Aptitude will be the two subjects in this round.
- A total of 250 questions will be asked in the Prelims of which General Studies will have 150 questions and 100 questions will be from General Aptitude.
- The total marks are 300. 150 marks will be for each subject. 4 Hours will be the duration of the exam. For each subject, 2 hours are given.
Main Exam:
- The UKPSC PCS 2022 mains will have descriptive questions with seven Question papers for different subjects.
- Each question paper will have a 3 Hours duration.
- The total marks for the mains will be 1500.
Based on each subject marks will be divided into the main examination. For Language 300 Marks will be there. 200 marks will be for the History of India, Society, and Culture, National Movement. Social Justice, Indian Polity, and International relation will have 200 Marks. 200 marks will be for India and World Geography. Economic and Social Development will have 200 Marks. 200 marks will be for General Science and Technology. General Aptitude and Ethics will have 200 Marks.
Interview:
There will be 200 Marks for the interview.
Syllabus:
The syllabus of the UKPSC PCS 2022 exam is given below:
- For the Preliminary Exam General Studies will include Indian History, History and Culture Of Uttarakhand, Culture and National Movement, Indian Polity, Indian and World Geography, Constitution of India, General Science and Technology, Economic and Social Development, Current events of the State, National and International Importance, etc.
- General Aptitude: Decision, Logical and Analytical ability, General mental Ability, Statistics Analysis, Numerical identification, etc.
- For Main Exam: Depending on the subjects discussed under the exam pattern the applicants need to study.
Admit Card:
The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission’s official website will publish the admit cards. After the application form is submitted admit cards are issued. Admit carry is obligatory for all entrants in the examination hall. No exam without a valid Admit Card.
Answer Key:
After the commencement of the exam, the answer key is announced. Candidates can estimate their marks after going through the answer key. Candidates can object if he or she is not satisfied with their final score on the official website.
Result:
After the preliminary round result is announced. Only successful candidates get a chance to write for the main examination. The final result is declared only after the mains and interview round is completed.
