University of Calicut B.Ed Admission 2023: The Calicut University is one of the finest Universities of the country located in Kerala. University of Calicut B.Ed Eligibility Criteria:

Degree of B.A/B.Sc. from the University of Calicut or a degree from any reputed university with 50% marks in all the three years of graduation only or 50% scores in the final year examination of graduation degree or Post Graduation Degree in the same discipline with at least 50% marks.

BE/B.Tech graduates with 55% marks in total are qualified to apply for B.Ed degree in Physical Science with Mathematics as optional subjects.

Candidates who have completed their final examination from any Universities outside the jurisdiction of Kerala have to provide a Certificate of Equivalency issued by the Calicut University asserting the recognition of the University from where the candidate has qualified his or her final examination in order to opt for B.Ed. the course of Calicut University.

SC/ST applicants including citizens of Lakshadweep and the applicants under Teacher Allocation only have to pass in the final examination. OBC, OEC and SEBC candidates will have 5% relaxation on the required qualifying marks.

• Blind candidates will get 5% relaxation in the total marks.
• Candidates of any age group can seat for admission to B.Ed. Courses.

Exam Pattern:
