University of Hyderabad Admission 2024: The University of Hyderabad was established in the year 1974. This university was facilitated by the Indian president with the visitor’s award for the ” best Central University in India in 2015.” This is popularly known for being a Research University. This is basically a public postgraduate university but it also offers an M.phil program for 18 months and Ph.D. programs for 5 years.

University of Hyderabad Admission 2024 Application Form:
The application form is available online on the official website of the university. For applying to each of the programs the candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.600 for the general category. In order to access the application form, you will have to follow the steps mentioned below:
- They will first have to visit the website.
- Then the candidate will have to fill in the application form, where they will have to put in all the details of the candidates including the choice of the examination center. The candidate will have to then upload the photograph along with the signatures.
- Once you submit the above-mentioned details the application number will be generated. It is essential for the candidate to keep the application number with them so that they can use it for further reference.
- Then in the fourth step, the candidates will have to fill in the details of the family and here the residence details of the candidate will also have to be filled in.
- After this step, the candidate will have to fill in the necessary academic details
- Then the candidate has to enter all the miscellaneous details and these include the marital status, the blood group, and the scholarship details.
- The candidate will also have to fill in the mailing address along with the permanent address in this step.
- In the final step, the candidate has to pay the application fee. It is important that the fee is paid before the last date. The mode of payment will be mentioned in the form itself.
UoH 2024 Application Fee:
Pay the application fee in online mode. The Application fee is non-refundable in nature. The fee is different for candidates belonging to different categories:
- General Category: INR 600/-
- EWS Category: INR 550/-
- OBC Category: INR 400/-
- SC/ST/PWD: INR 275/-
Application process will get over as soon as you pay the application fee.
UOH 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidates who want to apply for Master in Arts in Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, or Anthropology, from the University of Hyderabad have to get a minimum of 60% marks in class XII or equivalent education.
- If the candidate wants to apply for a Masters’s Degree in English then he or she needs to get at least 55% marks in aggregate and 50% in English in graduation. For getting admitted to a Masters’s degree course in Philosophy, the candidate will have to get a 50% mark in aggregate and for get admission in Hindi, the candidate will have to get a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.
- For Telegu, Urdu, Economics, and Political Science, a minimum of 50% in aggregate is essential.
- For applying for a Masters’s degree program in any of the Science subjects the candidate will have to get a minimum of 60% in aggregate in class XII or the Bachelor’s program.

Exam Pattern:
The exams of the University are conducted online and the total time to complete the paper is 120 minutes. There are a total of 100 questions that the candidate will have to attend and all these questions will be multiple-choice questions.
