UP ANM Admission 2022: ANM is Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery course. This course is conducted under the supervision of Medical Nursing. This course has a duration of 2 years and this includes 6 months internship as well. The main objective of this course is to teach students how they can help the entire community of people by providing them with the best health care facilities. This course is important because it provides trained and skilled professionals in the field of nursing. Due to the shortage of a number of nurses, the requirement for ANM graduates is increasing.

 Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidate has to pass the class XII examination with English as one of the compulsory subjects.
2. Candidates also needed to have passed from the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects.
3. The candidates who have passed their class XII examination from the National Institute of Open School or State Open School can also apply for this course.
4. The minimum percentage of marks required for admission may vary a little from one college to another. But you will have to secure at least 40% marks in both the compulsory as well as the general subjects.
5. The minimum age for ANM admission is 17 years and the maximum age is 35 years.
6. The candidates who have passed the class XII examination in either vocational or Health care stream can also apply.
7. It is also necessary for the candidate to be medically fit at the time of admission.

UP ANM Admission 2022 Application Form:

The application form is available online. This is true for both state level as well as institutional level admission.

• The application form will be available online on the official website of the university.
• Before filling up the forms, the candidates need to register themselves on the website.
• Once the registration is completed the candidates will be able to start filling up the form.
• When the candidates are filling up the form, it is necessary for them to enter all the important details.
• After entering the necessary details, the candidates will have to upload the necessary documents.
• Then the candidates will have to make a payment of the application fee.
• It is also necessary for the candidates to take a print of the application form for references in the future.
• Then finally the candidate will have to submit the application form.

• The candidates should keep a copy of the payment validation receipt which will be system generated.
• The application fee will be Rs.1000 for the candidates belonging to the UR/OBC category and it will be Rs.500 for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category.

Exam Pattern:

• The mode of the examination will be offline.
• The entrance examination will be conducted in both Hindi a well as English.
• The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
• Candidates will have to answer multiple-choice questions.
• There will be a total of 100 questions.
• The candidate will get 1 mark for each correct answer.
• The question paper of the examination will be based on the following subjects and these include Nursing, General English, Reasoning and General Knowledge.

Syllabus:

The examination will be conducted for the Science, Arts as well as the Commerce students. The syllabus for the Science students will include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. For the Arts and the Commerce students, the syllabus will include General studies, General Hindi and General English.

Admit Card:

The candidates will be able to get the admit card online in the official website of the university. The candidates who want to appear for the examination need to provide the admit card. This card is a mandatory document that will be available on the official website a few days before the examination. The candidates need to use their credentials in order to get access to the admit card.

Exam Result

The result will be available for all those candidates who have successfully appeared for the examination. The results will be announced online. The applicants have to visit the official website and use their log in details to check the results on the website. It is also recommended that the candidate keeps a copy of the result with them. The candidates will be allocated seats based on the results.
