UPCATET 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agricultural and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is a test that candidates from Uttar Pradesh take to get into different UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes in Agricultural Technology. The exam is conducted on a rotational basis between four institutions that are part of the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Avam Prodyogik Vishwavidyalaya. UPCATET 2024 Application Form

UPCATET application forms are released every year for candidates who aspire to take admission into their desired courses. Candidates are required to fill out the application form correctly and pay the application fee to become eligible to sit for the exam. Below are steps to fill in the application form:

• Visit the official website of the conducting body.
• Go to the admission page and click on the ‘Application Form’ link
• The online application form will appear on the screen.
• Candidates can fill in the details asked in the application form.
• Once the required details are filled in, candidates will have to upload all documents asked in the application form.
• Candidates, then, have to upload their scanned photographs along with their signature.
• Once the application form is duly filled, pay the application fee and submit the form.
• After submission of the UPCATET application form, candidates will get their application number and receipt of the payment which they have to save for future reference.

UPCATET 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates who desire to take the test should familiarize themselves with the UPCATET 2022 Exam Pattern established by the organizing authority.

• The test consists of multiple-choice questions that are objective in nature.
• The test is 3 hours long for UG, PG (excluding MBA), and PhD students, and 2 hours long for PhD students.
• The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi.

Admit Card

The admit cards may be downloaded from the official website. It is not sent to the applicant through courier or regular mail. Without an admit card, candidates are not permitted to enter the exam venue.

Candidates must also bring one kind of photo ID proof:

• Aadhar Card
• Voter ID Card

Candidates will not be allowed to sit for UPCATET 2022 unless they provide valid ID proof.

Candidates are recommended to print two copies of the UPCATET Admit Card 2022 because one must be self-attested and submitted with the principal investigator for their signature, which will be kept and used during the counseling session, and the other must be brought on the examination day. Candidates can check the steps to download their admit cards:

• Visit the official website of the conducting body
• Click on the ‘Admit Card’ link.
• A screen will appear asking your application number and date of birth
• Enter the required details
• The admit card of the candidate will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and take the printout of the admit card
• Save the admit card for future reference as it is asked during the counseling process.

 Note: The admit card will have all the required details such as the Candidate’s Name, Roll Number, and Photo. It will also have the address of the venue and exam day instructions.

Result & Counselling

The UPCATET result is announced after the successful conclusion of the entrance exam. Candidates who will appear for the entrance exam will be able to check their results using their roll number and date of birth.

Steps to download UPCATET Result:

• Visit the UPCATET exam’s official website.
• Select “UPCATET 2022 Result” from the drop-down menu.
• Enter your date of birth, category, registration number, and roll number.
• View the UPCATET exam results.
• UPCATET scorecard can be downloaded and printed.

Candidates who will clear the UPCATET exam will be called for the counseling round. The counseling round will involve the process of document verification following which the seat allotment list will be released. Candidates are required to bring the following documents at the time of counseling round:

• Admit Card of the UPCATET exam
• Copy of the scorecard of the UPCATET exam
• X & XII Marksheet
• Marksheet of Graduation for admission to PG programs
• Category Certificate, if applicable
• Five-passport size photographs
• Migration Certificate

After the conclusion of the counseling round, the final seat allotment list is released. Selected candidates are required to report to their allotted colleges on the mentioned date.
