Types of Banks:

  • Public sector Banks: Public banks whose majority of stake is held by the government.
  • Private sector Banks: Private Sector Banks refer to the banks whose majority of stake is held by individuals and corporations.
  • Foreign Banks: Foreign Banks are those banks whose Head office is located outside the country. Examples of Foreign Sector Banks are; Standard Chartered Bank, American Express & Citi Bank, etc.

Upcoming Bank Exams 2022 Application Form:

Bank Exam Application Forms for different banks shall be available on its official website which can be downloaded filled and submitted by the candidates within the specific dates mentioned. The candidates are required to provide all the necessary information about themselves like, name, postal address, mail I.D., educational qualifications, age (Date of Birth), etc. Thus the information gets registered with the bank for examination.

The examination is followed by the written exam, personal Interviews, and in certain cases group discussion. The successful candidates are then informed to join the respective banks at different locations.

  • The age of the applicants must be between 20 years and 28 years.
  • Bank Clerk Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.

Probationary Officers (Bank OP):

  • The age of the applicants must be between 21 years and 30 years
  • Educational Qualification: The candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university in India or their equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.

SBI SO 2022:

  • The age limit of the candidates is 21 years to 35 years.
  • Educational Qualification: The candidates must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

RBI Grade B 2022:

  • The age of the candidate should be more than 21 years and less than 30 years.
  • Educational Qualification: A Master’s Degree in Economics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Integrated Economics, Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregates of all the semesters, ears from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/Institute.

Selection Process:

Banking exams will be conducted in the following three stages.

  • Preliminary Exam,
  • Mains Exam, and
  • Common Interview

  5. Dear Sir, I done electrical engineering and I have not computer certificate but I studied fundamental of computer programming in I semester in college. Is this enough for bank clerk or I should apply for computer certificate course.
