UPSC Calendar 2023 Announced: UPSC or Union Public Service Commission is an authorized agency of India which is responsible for commencing the Civil Services Exam, Engineering Services Exam (ESE), National Defence Academy Exam (NDA), Naval Academy Exam (NA), Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Exam, Combined Medical Services Exam (CMS), Geologist Exam, Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Exam, etc.
The Constitution of India has granted this institution the license for carrying out such poignant examinations. Article number 315-323 of the constitution titled the services under States and Union facilitating with the Union Public Service Commission for the particular state. It is tough to pass these exams this is the reason the success rate has reached only 0.1% to 0.3 % to date. The proposal for setting up a Public Service Commission came from The Royal Commission on the Superior Civil Services in India.
