UPTET 2023: Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test 2023 (UPTET) is a state-level Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UTET is one of the very prestigious exams in Uttar Pradesh and the test is conducted every year. UPTET 2023 Application Form:

The steps to fill UPTET Online Application Form 2023 are mentioned below. Candidates need to follow the guidelines while filling the application form:

• The UPTET application form will be made available to candidates on the official website.
• Candidates need to first visit the official website: www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
• Read the notification regarding the examination carefully
• The candidates then need to fill the application form providing all the necessary details like personal and academic qualifications etc.
• After that upload a scanned photograph and signature.
• Make the payment of the application form.
• After completing all necessary steps submit the form and take out a printout of the same for future reference.

Application Fee:

• The application fee payment can be done either online or offline mode.
• Online options include payment by SBI Internet Banking / Debit Cards / Credit Cards/internet banking facility of other banks.
• Offline payment can be done with the help of an e-challan of the SBI bank slip.
• The fee structure varies for candidates from different categories.

UPTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must ensure their eligibility for examination before applying for UPTET 2023. Candidates can check their eligibility criteria for both primary and upper primary levels from below:

Eligibility Criteria for Primary Level (Class I-V):

• The Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or college is eligible to apply. OR
• The Candidates must have passed National Teacher Education Parishad from a recognized educational Institution OR
• Candidates must have  completed BTCT from the Institute recognized by the National Teacher Education Council, Uttar Pradesh OR
• The Candidates must have two years diploma in education from the Indian Rehabilitation Parishad.OR
• The Candidates holding Tech. degree from a recognized University affiliated by UGC/Uttar Pradesh Rashtriya Teacher Education Office OR
• Candidates must be holding a graduate degree from a recognized university and completed the training in BTC Urdu from Uttar Pradesh.

UPTET Eligibility for Junior High School Level (Class VI-VIII):

• The Candidates must have a Bachelor or Master degree from a recognized University/institute affiliated with UGC or NCTE OR
• The Candidates who must have completed the senior secondary school level examination (intermediate) with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply. OR
• The Candidates must have completed 4 years degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), BA/B.Sc. Ed. or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed. From NCTE recognized institutes are also eligible. OR
• The Candidates who must have done Graduation or Post Graduation from any UGC recognized university/college with at least 45% marks can also apply.

Syllabus:

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will release the syllabus for UPTET 2023 on its official website soon. The UPTET syllabus for paper-I and II will contain a list of subjects and topics from which questions will be asked in the teacher eligibility test.

Admit Card:

• The admit card of Uttar Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 will be issued by the UPBEB authority on the official website
• UPTET Admit card will get released by the month of July 2023.
• Admit Card will not be sent to any candidate by post so, Candidates will have to download it from the official site.
• It is important to carry the admit card to the examination hall it consists of details like  – the language of the paper, exam center, date & time slot of the exam, roll number, and photo of the candidate.
• If any error is found in the admit card then directly convey to the conducting authority immediately.
• Candidates need to reach the examination venue on time and carry admit card along with their admit card and also one ID proof.

UPTET 2023 Result:

• The result will be declared on the official website soon after the examination.
• To check the result candidates will have to visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB).
• Then enter their application number and password/date of birth.
• The result will be shown on the screen of the monitor, candidates can take out the print out of the result for further use.
