UUHF Entrance Exam 2024: Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry conducts the UUHF Entrance Examination to offer admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and research degree programmes. The admission process is based on the merit of the marks received in the prerequisite exam. Candidates would have to secure minimum cutoff marks to be eligible to participate in the next round which is the interview round. Following that, the final merit list will be prepared based on which candidates will be offered admission.

UUHF Entrance Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for a seat at the institute, you must fulfill the requirements. Verify this for each of the courses below.
Undergraduate programs:
The university offers B.Sc Forestry (Hons), B.Sc Horticulture (Hons), and B.Sc Agriculture (Hons) under its UG programs. The eligibility criterion is the same for all three UG courses. The candidate must have passed Intermediate in Agriculture or Science stream with Mathematics or Biology as a mandatory subject.
Postgraduate Programs:
The university offers 12 courses under its PG programs. The basic eligibility criteria are that the candidate must have done B.Sc in Forestry/Agriculture/Horticulture. To select that specialization in their Master’s, candidates must have read the subject in their graduation.

Doctoral Programs:
UUHF offers 6 specializations for its Doctoral programs. To apply for the doctoral program, the candidate must have a Grade point of 6.5 or equivalent in the concerned subjects in the Master’s programme.
Exam Pattern:
- All applicants for doctoral programmes must pass a subject-matter exam of 600 marks, which is given according to the programme. The test will last three hours and include multiple-choice questions.
- On the scheduled day of the university entrance test, all applicants (except those in certain categories) seeking admission to master’s programmes must complete the aptitude test and the subject matter test without a break from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The exam will begin with an aptitude test. After 45 minutes, the aptitude test question booklet will be collected, and the question booklet for the group-by-group subject matter test paper will be distributed based on the candidate’s preference according to the major subject in his or her qualifying examination.
- For each group, there will be 50 questions on the aptitude test and 150 questions on the subject matter test. There will only be English-language multiple-choice questions on the objective-type test.
- There won’t be any deductions for incorrect answers.
- Admission to all undergraduate programmes will be through a single university entrance exam. One question paper of 600 marks will be given, and it will be of the objective kind and last for three hours. There will be a bilingual question paper available in Hindi and English.
Admit Card:
- The Admit Cards may be obtained on the university website, and candidates may also get information through SMS on their registered mobile number regarding the download of the Admit Cards.
- The Superintendent of the Entrance Test will provide a duplicate admit card upon receipt of payment of Rs. 20.00 and a copy of the candidate’s passport-size photo that matches the one placed on the verification form if the candidate was unable to download the admit card or lost it.
Admission Process:
- After the release of the Rank-wise list of applicants who participated in the University’s entrance test, the Admissions Committee will determine the cutoff marks for passing the entrance test.
- If two or more candidates for master’s programmes have the same score on the UET, the older candidate will be given preference. If two or more candidates receive equivalent marks for undergraduate programmes, the merit will be determined based on the grades received in physics and chemistry. In the case of a tie once again, a candidate older would be taken into consideration.
