UWC Mahindra College Admission 2022: Mahindra United World College (UWC) was established in the year 1997. The school is affiliated with International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). UWC is a private school with a coeducational institution. They provide admission for classes XI to XII. This is a boarding school. The academic session will start from April month onwards for all standards. UWC college is one of the 15 schools and colleges around the world that are the part of UWC movement formerly United World College.

UWC Mahindra College Admission 2022 Process

The admission process will start from June month and will goes till the month of September. The admission will take place on the basis of nominating to UWC Mahindra College via their UWC National Committees. Students of India, residents and PIO/ OCI can apply for the nomination through United World College Committee.

• The admission process for Indian students will start in June month and it will end and be finalized in the month of January. The rigorous process of selection with an acceptance rate of 10- 15%
• The selection of the candidates can be done on the basis of a merit list prepared by the committee
• Shortlisted candidates are called for the assessment process at the selection camp organized at the UWCMC campus in Pune
• In the selection procedure, there is variously written and computer-based test, object presentation test, group discussion and interview
• Students must have good proficiency in the English Language that will help at the time of admission
• On the basis of performance UWC nominate the candidates for the admission process

Mahindra United World College Fee Structure:

UWC gives up to 100% scholarship based on the financial assessment of the parents. Although more than 70% of students at UWC are on the need-based scholarship. The latest fee structure is yet to be announced by the college but the last it is probably same as the last year fee structure. So here are the fee details for the last year.

• Annual fees: – Rs 17 lakhs
• Caution fees deposit: – Rs. 25,000/-
• Project week fees: – Rs. 16,000/-

Annual fee structure is 1,970,000  and 29, 500 $ (2019-2020)

Facilities and Infrastructure:

The College campus is spread over an area of 170 acres.  The campus is full of world-class facilities which make students comfortable in each aspect of living. They provide separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys. Proper security service 24 hours is available for the students. The campus is full of security cameras and under proper surveillance. Time to time counseling session is organized for the students to deal with the physical and mental issues. The campus is well-connected internet and wifi facilities. ATM/ cash Machines and Bank facilities are available within the campus. They have a big library with additional books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, general knowledge books, etc. on a daily basis they provide newspapers both in English and Hindi Language. Transport facilities are also provided by the college. The dining hall is very huge and spacious. There is hygienic food facility is available for both students and staff member. Foodservice staff follows the strict neat and clean hygiene condition of the dining hall. Every time fresh and clean food will be served to the students and staff members of the school.

Curricular Activities:

The school organizes time to time additional activities to encourage student talent. And also has a separate well-equipped music room. The Music room is full of all different kinds of musical instruments. The School campus also has a big clean swimming pool. The laboratories are well equipped and well-stocked. The school organizes time to time extra activities for the students like dance competition, quiz competition, writing competition, singing competition, Painting, Pottery, Clay Modeling, Dramatics, Classical Dance, Vocal Instrumental Music, Craft, School Band, Photography etc. school encourage students to take parts in various activities like arts, cookery, gardening, English literature and journalism, handicraft and needlework, heritage, motor mechanics, guitar, violin, flute, western and classical guitar, nature club, yoga and numismatics and philately.

Academics

The school is based on the English medium instruction and it follows all IB and CIE curriculums. They provide admission for Senior Secondary Sections. They offer two years of study programs in IB diploma and either student can choose to do UWC Mahindra College Project-based diploma by choosing a research project.
