VOCLET 2023: VOCLET is shortened for Vocational Lateral Entry Test, commenced every year by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCT & VE). The entrance test takes place every year for those who want to pursue Polytechnic courses from the second year. • The application process is an online /offline procedure.
• Candidates are required to submit their duly filled application form online mode.

• To carry out the offline process, collect the application form from the Government & Government Sponsored and Self Financed Polytechnics affiliated to WBSCT&V&SD(TED)

Application Fee:

Submit the application fee via modes such as Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI. Pay the amount of Rs. 450/- (225/- for Kanyashree Applicants)

VOCLET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

It is important to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for VOCLET 2023. Check the details below:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• There is no age limit to apply
• Those who have cleared or appeared in class XII of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development or must have cleared 2 years’ ITI and Madhyamik or equivalent exam.
• Entrants who appeared in ITI are not eligible for VOCLET 2023.
• Those who have passed the vocational courses from Councils/Boards other than WBSCT&VE&SD (West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development) are not eligible to apply.

Exam Pattern:

Here are the details about the examination pattern of VOCLET 2023:

• The exam will be commenced in the offline mode.
• There will be 2 papers.
• Paper, I consisted of Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry, and Paper-II for Mechanics & Computer.
• The candidate has to go through 200 Questions that are Multiple Choice.
• The time limit to complete the exam is 60 minutes.
• The total allotted marks will be 100.
• The applicant will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer.

Paper-I

• Mathematics: 20 questions for 20 marks
• Physics: 20 questions for 20 marks
• Chemistry: 20 questions for 20 marks

Paper-II:

• Mechanics: 20 questions for 20 marks
• Computer: 20 questions for 20 marks

Exam Syllabus:

The admit card will be available on the official website. Download the hall ticket from the website www.website.co.in. To download the admit card, enter the Application Number. The hall ticket or admit card consisted of details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, name & address of the examination center. Make sure to carry this card to the examination center.
