WBJEE 2023 Notification:

• WBJEE 2023 Admit Card has been released on 20th April 2023. Check here to download the Admit Card.
• WBJEE 2023 Application Form has been released on 23rd December 2023 and the last date to apply is 20th January 2023.

WBJEE 2023 Application Form:

Without a delay, fill out the WBJEE Application Form which is available from February 2023. This form is categorized into three brief steps which are as follows:

To fill in the Personal Info>>Uploading of the Documents>> Payment of fee.

After these three steps get completed, ensure to take the printout of the form for future safety. Upload three images and documents including Recent colored Passport sized photographs, Left Thumb Impression, Admit card of 10th standard examination, and signature. Besides this, make sure that the images should be in .jpg/jpeg format and the page size should be in A4 size format.

Steps to Apply for WBJEE 2023:

• Visit the official website of WBJEE.
• On the Homepage, click on the “Fill WBJEE 2023 Registration Form”
• Then click on “new registration” and Read all the instructions & click on Proceed button.
• Now enter your Details like name, email id, and mobile number, and click on the Submit button.
• Click on the ‘Image upload’ section and upload your recent passport size photograph and signature.
• Now click on the ‘Payment’ button and enter asked details.
• The fee will be paid online mode using a credit card/ debit card or net banking.
• Take the printout of the application form and keep it safe for other future references.

Eligibility Criteria:

WBJEE 2023 follows a certain pattern of eligibility which is as follows:

General Eligibility:

• Candidates must have the age of 17 years as of 31 Dec 2023 to get admission to Engineering / Technology courses.
• For the Marine engineering course, the minimum age is 17 years as of 31 Dec 2023, and the maximum age is 25 as of 31 July 2023.
• Amongst the reserved categories, those who are looking for taking admission to the government technology colleges or engineering courses the candidate must be a resident of West Bengal.

Education Qualification for Engineering:

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level or its equivalent exam recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
• The Candidates must have passed with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 12th class and anyone from the Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science & Computer Application securing 45% marks (40% marks for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD categories) in the qualifying subjects.
• Candidate must have qualified English at 10+2 level with a minimum of 30% marks.

Education Qualification for Pharmacy:

•  Candidates must have passed the 12th class or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
•  The candidates must have passed 12^th level with Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects & anyone among – Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science & Computer Application. Qualifying marks should be 45% marks (General) & 40% marks for reserved candidates.
• candidates must qualify for English subjects in 10+2 level with 30% marks.

WBJEE 2023 Exam Pattern:

• The test will be conducted through OMR-based (offline mode).
• The question paper is based on the Multiple Choice Questions Pattern. One has to choose one right option out of four.
• Paper is divided into two parts i.e. Paper I – mathematics and Paper-II – physics & chemistry.

Via sample paper, students will be able to collect practice material. One can download the papers of previous years in PDF format and make a better attempt in the examination.

Exam Syllabus:

While applying for WBJEE 2023, excellent preparation is indeed significant. WBJEE Board will provide the syllabus for PCM (Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry) later.

• Topics included in Mathematics are Algebra, Trigonometry, Coordinate geometry of two dimensions, Coordinate geometry of three dimensions, and Calculus.
• For Physics, it is the Physical World, Units & dimensions, Optics II (Wave Optics), Connected Systems, Kinematics, Measurements, Laws of Motion, Motion of center of mass, and Friction.
• Chemistry Includes Atoms, Molecules & Chemical Arithmetic, Atomic Structure, Periodic Table and Chemical Families, Radioactivity & Nuclear Chemistry, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure.

Exam Center:

WBJEE exam takes place in many prominent parts of the country including Tripura, Agartala, Assam & Silchar. There can be the case when candidates won’t be allotted with their first choice zone but just in case sufficient candidates are unavailable then it can be possible otherwise, IInd choice/ IIIrd choice of the zone would be provided.

WBJEE 2023 Admit Card:

Download the admit card in the second week of April Admit card is available at the exam center. There will be an examination number for every candidate. Thus download the soft copy and make sure for having a hard copy. This hard copy should be carried away with the candidates while entering the examination hall.

Result

WBJEE 2023 Result will be released online on the website in the fourth week of May 2023. The candidates will be able to get the result in the form of a WBJEE rank card.
