WBUT PGET 2023: The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology conducts the WBUT PGET Examination for the candidates. This is a state-level examination that is held once every year. The candidates who have applied for the GATE/GPAT can also appear in the examination. The conducting authority will be releasing the application form. WBUT PGET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates will have to be Indian nationals.
• The candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy from a recognized institute or university.
• The final year students can also apply.
• Candidates who have an MSc degree or have completed the MSc in the respective branches can also apply for the examination.
• The GPAT/GATE qualified students are also eligible for admission.
• The aspirants who are the associate members of the Professional of Engineers recognized by the Government of India as equivalent courses are also eligible to apply.

WBUT PGET 2023 Application Form:

The application form will be available on the official website. The candidates can access the form from the official website.

If you want to access the application form, then you will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

• On the homepage, the candidate will have to first click on the option that says, Post Graduate Entrance Test for admission into M.Tech and M.Pharm under MAKAUT WB.
• The candidate will have to first download the application form and fill the same with all the relevant information. Then the candidate will also have to attach the relevant self-attested photocopies of the mark sheet, the GATE scorecards, etc. This is for verification along with the filled-in application form.
• The candidate will have to fill in all the necessary details very carefully so as to ensure that you cannot change it at a later stage.
• The candidates with valid GATE/GPAT scores have to attach self-attested copies of the scorecard.
• Take a print of the application form, attach it with the other documents and send it to the address given below:

Application Fee:

• The candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs. 600 and the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will have to pay Rs.300/-.
• The candidates can pay the WBUT PGET 2023 application fee via demand draft on favor of ” MAKAUTWB-PGET” from any nationalized bank payable in Kolkata.

Exam Pattern:

• The mode of the examination is online.
• The exam duration is 90 minutes.
• There will be a total of 50 questions that you will be asked to answer.
• The candidate will have to answer multiple-choice questions.
• Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking.
• The medium of examination will be English.
• Total marks will be 100.

WBUT PGET Syllabus:

• Reasoning topics such as Coding-Decoding, Number series, Sitting Arrangement, etc.
• Basic engineering topics
• Basic Mathematics
• English topics such as Vocabulary, Grammar, Punctuation, reading comprehension, etc.

Result:

The result will be available on the official website and this will be in the form of a merit list. You will be able to see the PDF of the entire list available on the website. The candidate will be able to download the result by putting in the details of the registration number and the password. In case there is a tie, then the previous academic qualification will be used to break the tie. The counseling of the candidates will be done based on the merit list.

Cut Off:

The cut off is the minimum score or the minimum rank that the candidates will have to score in order to get a chance to participate in the counseling session.

Admit Card:

In order to download the admit card, the candidate will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

• The candidate will first have to visit the official website.
• On the home page, the candidate will have to click on the Post Graduate Entrance Test for admission into M.Tech and M.Pharm under MAKAUT WB.
• In order to download the admit card, you will have to enter the application number along with the other credentials such as date of birth or the password.
• After this, you will have to click on the Submit button.
• The admit card will appear in front of the screen. The candidate will have to take a print of the admit card for future use.
