Welham Girls’ School Admission 2022: Girl’s school, an all-girls school, is located in Dalanwala, Dehradun. It is affiliated to the (CISCE) Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations a privately held national-level board of school education in India. The academics start from class VI to XII. The academic session starts in April and the final examinations are conducted in March of the very next year. It is an English medium school i.e. all interactions are in the English language only. Hindi is also given due importance in the curriculum and it is made sure that each girl reaches a high standard in the language. Students are allowed to choose any one of this language Sanskrit, Punjabi, Bangla, Urdu as a third language in the Middle School. Students may also opt for French if she has any prior knowledge of the language.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
The following document is mandatory at the time of admission
- Original Birth Certificate– The applicant must show an original birth certificate at the time of admission.
- Transfer Certificate– A valid transfer certificate from the previous school issued by the principal must be shown at the time of admission.
- Character Certificate – A valid Charactercertificate from the previous school issued by the principal must be shown at the time of admission.
- Medical Certificate- Applicant should produce a medical certificate at the time of admission who showing the applicant does not have any health issue.
- Three recent passport size photographs are required to be submitted by a student.
- Migration Certificate – – A transfer certificate from the previous school issued by the principal must have shown at the time of admission.
Note: Until the Character Certificate, Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate and Birth Certificate, in original, are received by the school, the applicant’s admission is considered as provisional. The candidate will have to submit all original certificates within 14 days of her admission.
Requirements at the time of registration
- The applicant must fill the full application form.
- The completed registration card must be sent with an attested photocopy of the applicant’s Birth certificate and required demand draft.
- One recent passport size photograph of the applicant has to be attached.
- The birth certificate should have been issued by the Registrar of birth and death.
Result and Preferences
Admission offer is given on the basis of the result of assessments, given by school at the time of admission, and also depending on the number of vacant seats in each class. Some preference is given during admission to-
- daughter of transferable Government officials,
- daughter of serving Armed Forces personnel,
- girls whose mothers have studied there for a minimum four years or have passed school at the end of Class XII.
- girls whose own sisters have studied or studying in this School.
NOTE: Admission in Class XI solely depends on the Board examination results
