X-GMAT 2023X-GMAT 2023: X-GMAT is also known as General Management Aptitude Test arranged every year by Xavier University Bhubaneswar or XUB for the candidates seeking admission to the University Of Xavier Institute Of Management. Xavier General Management team is solely responsible for conducting the entrance for the willing candidates to take admission in the University Of Xavier Institute Of Management. This University offers varied postgraduate and undergraduate courses to the candidates who are eligible to qualify for the entrance examination.

The University offers an MBA degree in Rural Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Property Management, Global Management, Executive MBA and so on. The undergraduate courses offered by the University are BSc-MC, BBM, Sc.-Eco, Sc.-SD, Tech- CSE and so on.

X-GMAT 2023 Application Form:

In order to apply for Xavier University, Bhubaneswar or XUB applicants need to qualify for XGMAT. The application form for X-GMAT is available online on the official website. Candidates must submit the filled application form before the stipulated due date. The application form must be filled carefully with all required information correctly as any invalid or incorrect entry will lead to the cancellation of the form. Candidates can avail the application form only after the online registration is done on the official website. Applicants need to furnish their professional, personal and academic details in the application form with passport size photographs and signature in jpeg format. After course selection applicants must take a photocopy of the filled application form. Candidates need to submit the application form with the prescribed application fee within the due date.

X-GMAT 2023 Application Fee:

After filling the application form candidates need to pay the application fee. The application fee is a vital part as without paying it the application form will not be accepted. The application fee can be paid by using net banking/debit card/credit card. After the application fee has been paid successfully the candidates will receive a confirmation message immediately after that. The application fee is Rs.1500 for the first choice of subject and Rs 700 as additional charges for further choices. Applicants need to pay the extra application fee of Rs.1000 for XGMAT.

XGMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for XGMAT are as follows:

Candidates having a valid score of CAT, XAT & GMAT need not have to seat for the entrance and is eligible to seek direct admission for Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar or XIMB.

The minimum eligibility required for attending X-GMAT is, the applicants must have three-year Graduation degree from a recognised university in any discipline with at least 55% marks.

Candidates with CAT, XAT &GMAT scores can seat for the Writing Ability Test or WAT & Personal Interview or PI sessions which will take place in different cities viz. Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Calcutta and Hyderabad.

Applicants who wish to seat for the entrance examination must have more than five hundred marks in their succeeding examination.

Applicants working in a corporate are entitled to seat for the entrance but for admission, they need to provide their supporting documents to the University.

Age is not a criterion for the deserving candidates in order to attend the entrance.

The entrance is conducted in online mode. Candidates need to answer the paper within 2 hours. There will MCQ type questions which the candidates need to attend. The question paper is divided into 5 segments- Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quantitative aptitude, General Awareness & Emotional Quotient and Verbal Ability.

Numbers and its applications, Percentages and its applications, Algebra, Ratio and its applications, Number system, HCF & LCM, Work and time, Inequalities, Time-Speed-Distance, Surds and Indices, Geometry and its applications, Logarithms, Current affairs, Bar, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, Pie, Data Sufficiency, Table, Line graphs,  Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Verbal Reasoning, Contextual usage, Syllogisms, Analogies, Idioms, One-word substitution Critical Reasoning, Para jumbles, Government & Politics, General Awareness, Awards & winners, Famous Personalities, Static GK, Business, Economy, Important happenings round the World, Emotional Quotient, etc.

Admit Card:

Admit cards will be issued before the exam commences. Applicants can acquire the Admit Card from the official website. The admit cards will only be provided to the applicants who have completed the form successfully before the due date. Candidates must carry the printed admit card downloaded from the website along with them to the examination centre as without a valid admit card he/she will not be permitted to sit for the examination. The admit card will have the candidate’s name, registration number, Date of Birth, date of an admission test the exam time and so on.

Result:

The required information about the details of the results is provided below: Applicants can acquire the results via online mode from the official website. Applicants can download the result from the official web site by providing the login credentials. Candidates must store some extra copies of the result after getting it from the official website for future use. The entrance conducting body prepares a merit list for the successful candidates based on the marks secured by them in the entrance examination. The entrance result displays the roll number, candidate’s name, applied course, marks division depending on the different sections in the examination and the total marks obtained by the candidate.

Cut off:

The cut-off marks are prepared by the Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) who plays the pivot role in preparing the result

The cut-off marks depend on the number of applicants giving the examination.

  • The cut off is also dependent on the number of vacant posts in every year
  • The RPSC commission decides the cut-off percentage.
  • The cut off depends on the level of the question paper.
  • Candidates belonging to different categories have different cut off marks.

X-GMAT Merit List defines the competence of the candidate. Based on the merit list, X-GMAT will be electing the candidates if they are suitable to enroll for admittance into Xavier Institute or not.
