XIC OET 2023 stands for Xavier’s Institute of Communications Online Entrance Test. This is an entrance test commenced by Xavier’s Institute of Communications, Mumbai. The institute commences this test to seek admission into various PG courses offered in the field of mass communication. XIC OET 2023 Application Form:
- Collect application form from the official website. It cannot be attained via any other mode. Those who have successfully completed and submitted the application form can also apply for the entrance test.
- Go to the official website of Xavier Institute of Communications
- Then go to the application form tab and click.
- Select the Online Entrance Test 2023.
- Select the course and fill the application form by entering the details like address, phone, email ID, candidate’s name, and other educational qualification details.
- Then upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature on the application form
- Press the ‘Next’ button
- Make a payment of the application fee which will be INR 3,000 including 14% service tax.
- You can make payment via online modes such as Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
- Download and acquire the printout of the filled application form for further reference

Eligibility Criteria:
- Those who have successfully completed their graduation in the fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Computers, BE, BMS, Catering, etc. approved by the university can apply for the course.
- Candidate needs to be a citizen of India.
- Candidate’s age needs to be 35 years or less can apply for the test.
- Those who are appearing in the final year can apply for the admission
XIC OET 2023 Exam Center:
Choose the examination center of the choice while filling the online application form. As soon as the examination center is chosen it cannot be changed. Given below is the list of locations of examination centers:

Exam Pattern:
- The exam time duration will be 1 hour 30 minutes.
- The paper will consist of two sections. The first section consisted of objective-type questions and the second section consisted of subjective-type questions.
- There will be Objective questions for 100 marks which are required to be completed in an hour
- Subjective questions consisted of 50 marks which are required to be completed in 30 minutes.
- Objective questions will be asked from the subjects like General Knowledge, Language Skills, Knowledge of Media, Logical and Analytical Skills
- The second section contains a total of 3 questions that are media related and are asked to assess creativity, social values, writing skills, etc.

XIC OET 2023 Syllabus:
- There will be no specific syllabus by the Xavier Institute of Communication for the XIC OET entrance test. Candidates are required to go through the below-mentioned topics
- Language Skills will consist of topics like Plural, Spellings, Singular, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases, One Word Substitutes, etc.
- General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media will consist of topics from general knowledge and current affairs awareness questions. Candidates must be updated with the latest Political, Social and Economic Happening of the country and abroad.
- Logical and Analytical Skills: For this section, candidates are required to practice questions from various topics such as Directions, Series, Blood Relations, Critical Reasoning, Syllogism and Analogy.

Exam Result:
Go through the exam result via online mode. Enter the registration number on the official website to check the result. The exam result will be announced in the month of June 2023. After the exam gets over, the result will be published on the official website.

Those who have successfully cleared the exam will be called for the counseling process. Counselling process consisted of a group discussion round and a personal interview round.
